Merlon is a graphic designer, visual artist, and creative entrepreneur whose work blends traditional artistry with contemporary digital design. As Lead Graphic Designer at YoWAD Tech and founder of PayneDesignz, he transforms original hand-drawn concepts into distinctive digital experiences, illustrations, and visual identities that are bold, expressive, and uniquely his own.
His creative work spans digital media, custom apparel, exhibitions, and social platforms, where he shares finished projects and the creative process behind them. Through Instagram and TikTok, Merlon continues to develop an audience around his evolving design style and passion for bringing original ideas from sketch to screen.
Merlon is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at the University of West Florida, with an expected graduation in 2027. He previously earned an Associate of Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College in 2023. His academic training continues to expand his understanding of visual communication, typography, composition, branding, and contemporary design principles.
With a particular passion for graphic design and Adobe Illustrator, Merlon has also earned professional certifications in Adobe Graphic Design and Adobe Image Editing. His combination of formal education, professional training, and hands-on creative experience enables him to approach design with both artistic vision and technical precision.
Beyond design, Merlon is committed to using his time and talents to make a positive impact. His volunteer involvement with Feeding Northeast Florida, Daniel Pay Day, Cara White Mission, and the University of North Florida Leadership Mentorship Awards reflects a broader commitment to community engagement, service, and leadership.

Guided by creativity, empathy, and purpose, he continues to build a career at the intersection of art, technology, innovation, and meaningful visual storytelling.
